Prayer Letter
November 2009
Dear friend,
May we again thank you for your continued interest and faithful prayerful support in the work of “The Barn”. We had a great night together in October when Andrew Armstrong shared his testimony and Gareth Gwynne brought a powerful message from God’s word. It was encouraging to see many new faces along with even a group from Cavan attending! We trust that God will continue to work on and also speak to the many other people who have downloaded the message on the internet. As we turn our thoughts to the next meeting coming up on 21st November, when David Legge will be speaking, we realize the importance of seeking God because “our sufficiency is in Him” (2 Cor 3v5). We would really appreciate your prayers for this meeting and have listed a number of praise and prayer points for your attention.
Praise
• For the new website ministry which has opened up “The Barn” to a new audience.
• The new gospel flyer which has been widely distributed.
• Willingness of the team of people involved practically and in prayer.
• Praise God for speaking and working in hearts of young people.
Prayer
• That God would really help David Legge as he prepares and speak through the message and as a result lives would be radically transformed.
• For the various people as they take part in the meeting that they will all be used to glorify God.
• Wisdom and guidance over a possible mission in March.
• People to get saved through the work of the outreach team in Cookstown.

October 2009
Dear friend,
Thank you sincerely for your prayerful interest in our ministry among the young people in the Barn. We know that God has heard our prayers in the first month, giving help and pouring out his Holy Spirit with a real sense of Gods presence experienced. We give him all the glory for answered prayer.
We look to him again as we pour out our hearts in prayer for the young people like Daniel of old.
Daniel was a man of prayer
“he went into his house and his windows being open in his chamber towards Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God” Daniel 6 V10
As you can see in this verse Daniel prayed by opening his windows in his chamber and looked towards Jerusalem (city built by God, which came into existence because the Lord God said, `She shall be inhabited`) For Daniel was committed to the plan and purpose of God, aware that it would not fail but would be accomplished. For him the city Jerusalem symbolized this because it was the city were God had fulfilled his promises and where he had demonstrated time and time again that he was God. Therefore to view Jerusalem was to view God himself. To walk around Jerusalem and look at it was to look to God himself.
We learn from Daniel that we need to be looking towards God, He will fulfill His purposes for the lives of the young people of the Barn and He will do the work not us. We are looking to God to fulfill his promises that He has showed us through His word.
Looking to God for: Practical help on Friday night for setting up, Helping Garth as he comes to speak, To help the worship team and pray for website ministry as it continues to grow.
Again, thank you for your continued faithfulness in the place of prayer.
In Him, your servants at the Barn

September 2009
Dear friend,
This is the new season of the Barn! Truly during the summer months we have so much to thank and praise the Lord for! During these summer months, there are those who have been serving the Lord in different mission fields around the world, and at home here. What a joy this has been, as many have seen the salvation of precious souls. Souls that have become new creatures in Christ! Many also have made a new offering of their lives to serve the Lord and now have a new song in their mouth!
This season in the Barn we are looking to the Lord to do a new thing! The Lord said in Isaiah 42v9 that the old things have come to pass, but that He will declare new things! That He will tell us of them! This is exciting! This month Pat Kitchen will bring the word at the Barn. Please pray for Him. Pray that souls will be saved, that backsliders will be restored and that many Christian young people will be challenged in their walk with God. Challenged to surrender all and walk in the newness of life and of the Spirit! Pray too as Karen Cummings would share her testimony and of her time in Brazil. May the word find a resting place in many hearts, and bring forth new fruit! May we see many new faces this season at the Barn!
There are some new plans ahead for the hall! So we would greatly appreciate your prayers, as decisions are made about the layout .Also that there would be guidance and wisdom in the planning and preparation of each Barn meeting. Thank you for praying, prayer is the work. You are the most vital part of this work! May we continue to know the Lord’s presence in each new day as we live for Him, in the new and living way!
Your servants at the Barn!
